Director's Welcome

We are happy you are interested in learning more about UUCOV and our Youth Religious Education (YRE) program. We offer a progressive religious education program that honors the worth and dignity of your child, and all children.

Our YRE program explores UU purposes and principals, the beliefs and celebrations of a variety of religious traditions, and avenues to act as an individual with integrity, responsibility, equity and love. Simply put, an emphasis on an open mind, helping hands and loving heart are the foundation of our program.

We create community through intergenerational activities that allow our children to share their talents while learning through the experiences and talents of our adult congregants. Committed to instilling an understanding of the greater good our YRE program initiates and completes social service projects each year.

I’m looking forward to spending time together this year. My “door” (whether through e-mail, phone or at the church) is always open to you.

Warmest wishes,

Jaye Williams, Director of Lifespan Education
